Once upon a time, in a small village nestled deep in the woods, there lived a family of farmers. The family consisted of a father, a mother, and their daughter, Sarah. They lived in a small but cozy cottage, which was surrounded by acres of farmland.
One night, when the family was fast asleep, Sarah woke up to a strange noise coming from the window. She got out of bed and walked towards the window, but as she got closer, she saw a figure standing outside. The figure was tall, dark, and had a long flowing cloak. Sarah was terrified, and she quickly ran to her parents' room.
Her parents tried to calm her down, but Sarah was adamant that she had seen something outside. Her father decided to investigate and went outside to check. However, he found nothing but a few stray animals rustling in the bushes.
The family thought it was just Sarah's imagination and went back to sleep. However, the same thing happened the next night, and the night after that. Sarah would wake up to a strange noise outside her window, and when she looked outside, she would see the same figure.
The family was now very scared, and they decided to seek help from the village priest. The priest listened to their story and told them that it was the ghost of a man who had died a violent death many years ago. The ghost was seeking revenge on the villagers who had wronged him in the past.
The priest told the family that they should offer prayers and perform a ritual to pacify the ghost. The family did as they were told, and to their surprise, the ghost never appeared again.
The family lived the rest of their lives in peace, but they never forgot the ghost who haunted them. And even to this day, the villagers claim to have seen the same ghost wandering in the woods, seeking revenge on those who wronged him in the past.
